Tilt (2011)

Tablet-based interactive portrait project questioning the convention of flatness and single point of view in the photographic portrait, via a dynamic perspective that adapts to the orientation of the observer. Using a series of images taken by orbiting the camera around the subject using a motorized rotating device, different perspectives are loaded into an iPad tablet app, with the vantage point on the person changing depending on the orientation of the tablet in relation to the viewer (as perceived by the accelerometer), adapting the perspective thanks to a corner-pinning anamorphosis.
